FAN THE FLAME I was inspired to record this album with a country flare after realizing the band’s success in taking the gospel to secular venues. My country style voice made this project quite natural. My concern for the moral decay of America prompted me to use Dennis Agajanian's tune, "Lord Give Us America" - "...light a fire, fan the flame..." to set the theme for the album.
This tune opened the door to performances for political conventions and for other audiences that shared this burden. Other tunes trumpet the security found in knowing Jesus Christ and stir the heart to a deeper love for God, His word and family. Recorded at The Sounding Board, Nashville, Tn.
