The songs from my first album released in 1980 still deliver a relevant and powerful message. The song "Thank You For The Valley" written by Dottie Rambo presents the listener with the challenge of thanking God for the hard times as well as the good. The impact of this song still reverberates in my soul today.

When I recorded it, I was seven months pregnant with my baby who was born with Downs syndrome. Little did I know at that time, I was about to face the darkest valley of my life. My personal experience in meeting the challenge of my own song prompted the writing of my book, "Thank You For The Valley." "Joy of Jesus" written by my friend, Carol Graves, was a radio hit and reached No. 1 on the charts in Houston and other places. You'll love Dallas Holmes' tune, "The Day He Wore My Crown."

Recorded at The Room-Mark Five Studios, Greenville, S.C. Produced by Joe Huffman 1980
